We are Andrea and Pauli. In 2023, we set off on a major voyage aboard our catamaran, *SYMI*, leaving Greece\u2014our long-time \"sailing home.\" We crossed the Mediterranean in the summer of 2023, then sailed across the Atlantic via the Canary Islands and Cape Verde Islands. In 2024, we made our way through the Lesser Antilles, and in 2025, we sailed from Grenada through the Bahamas and up to the Chesapeake Bay (USA). From there, we began our return journey to Europe via Bermuda in May 2026. We have been in the Azores since June 3, 2026. To date, we have sailed a total of approximately 13.521 nautical miles\u2014roughly 21.400 kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ultimate destination of our journey is Greece.\nIn this way, the childhood dream I have held since reading Wolfgang Hausner\u2019s books in the 1970s will be fulfilled, and Andreas\u2019s sense of adventure\u2014along with his quest for the new and unknown\u2014will be satisfied. The greatest adventure of our lives is underway\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
